Wishing You A Very Happy 2025

It was January 2015.
My kids were 12, 11, 8, and 6.
In just two months, my son would turn 13. He’d be a teenager – my first.
It would be all new. And yet, I had no concern.
I had great kids, and I was a great mom.
Even when close friends warned, “I can’t wait for my teen to be out of the house,” I was unfazed. I was sure we would breeze through the teen years. I saw nothing but continued smooth sailing ahead.
All was well in the Ludwig household.
That is – until it wasn’t.
Seemingly overnight, a Nintendo was traded for a cell phone.
Straight A’s dropped to D’s.
Bedroom doors left open were now closed.
Playtime with friends morphed into texting, video games, and eventually porn.
Conversations became lectures, and actions became secrets.
Secrets fostered isolation. Isolation eliminated connection.
Soon—without connection—all was not well in the Ludwig household.  We had no idea what to do.

It’s now January 2025. Ten years have passed.
My kids are 22, 21, 18, and 16.
In just two months, my son will be 23.
He is living on his own, providing for himself, and dating a wonderful young woman. He lives nearby and comes home often. This morning, he’s playing golf with his dad. You could say he’s living the dream.
But the truth is – we all are.
Because when our lives crumbled and none of us knew what to do, I didn’t tap out. Or give up. Or give in. I figured it out. I devoted myself to saving my family. And that I did. Because nothing matters more. Nothing. ❤️

After ten years, four teens, and too many struggles and successes to count, all is well in the Ludwig household.

No matter where you are in your parenting journey, please know you’re not alone. There’s help and answers and solutions. There are skills, vibes, and tactics that DO work. Connection can be yours. You, too, can raise a teen with confidence and save your family. This is the year I will show you how.
